Active AdventurersActive Adventurers - Children K-3rd Grade graduatesCooking Around the WorldJunior chefs experience tasty travels with healthy foods from cultures around the globe. We will make a tasty meal, appetizers, and desserts to be brought home to share with your family. Date: June 22-26 Sailing the Seven SeasSet sail on an imaginary voyage inspired by travel on the high seas. Don pirate gear, map your journey, experiment with sea worthy crafts, and discover the mysterious creatures of the sea. Date: June 29-July 3 Can't make this camp? Similar themes in Super Silly Science camp! Art FUNdamentalsRoll up your sleeves and get ready to explore all the colorful, messy, wacky, and FUN methods for making art! We will sculpt, mosaic, paint, and collage our way to some fantastic masterpieces! We will have an Active Adventurers Art Show on Friday, July 10 for friends and family to see our beautiful work. Date: July 6-10 Nĭ Hăo! - Chinese Culture and LanguageTake a voyage to Date: July 13-17 Super Silly ScienceWhat happens if......It's time to answer all those wacky questions that make up the mysterious world of science and nature. Cooking With a Green ThumbLet's learn what yummy dishes can be made from things that grow in a garden or on a farm! We will visit our very own local farmers market and learn about plants and gardening. It's time to put on our chef's hat and use our green thumb! Date: August 3-7 Soar into Your StoryDo you have some great ideas for your very own story? Have you ever made your own book? We will do some interactive games and brainstorms to write, create, and bind our very own book. An Active Adventurers book signing and author's reception will take place on Friday, August 14 for friends and family. Date: August 10-14 Spanish ExploracionesTake a voyage to Mexico, Spain, and South America! Learn some basic Spanish words, sing songs, hear stories, make colorful art and play games that will introduce you to Spanish culture.
