Backyard to the Moon: Museum AdventuresCampers will discover the incredible power of play as they explore the Museum's exhibits and Mission: "From the backyard to the moon, the Children's Museum of Tacoma celebrates the power of play." Through messy art, fun games and hands-on activities we'll learn about gardening, artistic process, healthy eating and fitness choices and money smarts! Who? Children 4 to 8 Young Explorers: Tall ShipsAhoy buccaneers! Join us as we set sail on imaginary voyages without leaving port. We'll don our pirate gear, create art and play games inspired by travel on the high seas. Who? Pre-kindergarten children three and up ArtFUNdamentals!We'll roll-up our sleeves for playful printmaking, sculpture, and kid-powered art and science explorations! Museum staff and guest artists will lead campers in creating unique prints, sculptures and cool concoctions using a variety of media. A yummy mid-morning snack is provided.
