Team Tadpole Retires Happy to Help Support Free Museum Access
Congratulations to the Museum! Their event on Saturday raised $96,000 to keep the Museum and its programs open and affordable to all in our community!
The Raise the Paddle portion of the event supported free access to the Museum. This year, they will serve over 42,000 people: fifty percent participate or attend for free.
The Museum's Board of Directors also just adopted an "increased commitment to access" as one of their strategic goals for the upcoming five years. Current free programming includes: Free First Fridays, Play Pass, Market Play Days and Play to Learn.
Team Tadpole had a fabulous time working on a playhouse for the Children's Museum these past months. We're happy our efforts will bring play to many children in our community, and glad to start letting those splinters and black fingernails heal!
